Charlie:
“We’ve got a vibrant, amazing partner ecosystem. I think we’re in an incredible position to have gold partners like FGS to go to market with. My job is to build on that foundation across the region and to look at how HPE innovation is brought to customers using that strong collaboration.”
“We’re going to continue to drive this innovation in high performance computing, AI technologies and solutions will continue to evolve and adapt. We’ll be working hard to bring that to partners like FGS as a proposition that is fit for clients. I think that’s unique – I don’t think any of our competitors are planning that, doing that, or able to do that.”
Peter:
“I’m excited for 2024. High end compute is no longer the ‘boring’ topic. Let’s be honest, servers were pretty dull, but we’re seeing some of our customers investing over £200k in a server following the wide scale adoption of AI. That’s serious.”
Charlie:
“Absolutely. We’ll continue to adapt with that direction in mind. We’ll continue to evolve the way that FGS and our customers consume technology, things like Greenlake and Greenlake Flexible will be around, but also SaaS and Infrastructures as a Service will continue to be developed, bolstered, and simplified. These are exciting times.”
Peter:
“The Greenlake side has been challenging for our clients. The highly regulated banking and igaming industry we serve is international. Our clients have Germany, Gibralta, Malta, UK, Netherlands etc. Greenlake – as a geo – had to be done within the country you are selling from, that’s a challenge. The proposition wasn’t that attractive. With cross boarder deals now coming online it’s likely this will make a real difference for us and our clients. These are exciting times, if Greenlake can work for the highly regulated industries it gives the clients we serve an opportunity to stay compliant and transition to the Cloud whereas previously this might not have been on the table.”
